Our Story
Get to Know Us
Law Firm Ready (LFR) was founded with a vision inspired by Prof. Madhav Menon, who imagined law schools to be an enablers of change for building better social engineers AKA Lawyer community. We take that vision to support aspiring legal professionals, particularly those from less developed law schools, by providing them with tools and resources.
We do this by conducting sessions around skill training, foundational learning, research guidance, career counselling, peer learning, mental health support and providing exposure to emerging careers in legal community. Additionally, we support law schools, law professionals, academia to build an upskilled empathy based legal community.
Our long-term goal is to reform the Indian legal education system by supporting all stakeholders in the legal field including law schools, law students, faculty, legal professionals and citizens at large.
We are also focused on SDG 4 of inclusive and equitable quality education, SDG 8 of Decent work and economic growth and SDG 10 of reduced inequalities as we focus on students coming from less privileged groups within society.
